1. THE RIGHT TO USE A PICTURE
 
Pictures ordered from Eric Hammerin / www.erichammerin.com may only be used in the way and to the extent that was agreed upon when ordering. Pictures may be used only by the one placing the order or by the one who is named as user at the time of order placement. The right to use a picture may not be resold or in any way extended to any other party without the written consent of the photographer. The right to use a picture is given by Eric Hammerin when full payment has been made and is received.

2. EXTENDED USE
 
For use which is different from that which is stated when ordering, the photographer's permission is requested and adjustment of the price will be made.

3. OWNERSHIP OF PICTURE
 
Delivered pictures are still my property. What you buy is the right to use them for a specified purpose which we have agreed upon.

4. NAME OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER
 
When using a picture, the photographer's name will be published, usually next to the picture or in a contributors' list whichever is applicable to the publication.

5. INTEGRITY CLAUSE
 
Pictures of individually recognizable persons may not without special written permission be used to market brands, companies, etc. nor political, religious or other beliefs, values or opinions.

6. IMAGE REPRODUCTION AND PUBLICATION
 


Pictures shall be reproduced with greatest possible faithfulness to the supplied original. Pictures from Eric Hammerin / www.erichammerin.com may be reasonably adjusted in colour, contrast etc. and may have the edges diffused or be cropped as needed to suit the publication. Colour photos may also be reproduced in black/white.
For alterations, adjustments or transfering pictures into other techniques which means more serious distortions and which affects the impression of the image (i.e. most Photoshop filters, joining several pictures into one, using a picture as model for painting or drawing etc.) a written permission is mandatory before publication is made.

The word publication means to make public. In this case it means that my pictures in some form or way are made available to someone else in addition to me and you. If you publish my pictures you must pay for it, whether you make it for commercial puposes or not.

7. DELIVERY OF PICTURES
 
Digital delivery: Over the internet ( if you have broadband ) or on CD in accordance with ISO-9660 (normal standard) via mail.
Film images or prints: Via mail. See more below at #10.

8. PRICE AND PAYMENT
 
For use within the EU, I glance at the recommendations from BLF ( Bildleverantorernas forening ), i.e. moderate prices. Placement of the picture ( cover ... foldout ... ) and size matters, as does the circulation number of the publication.
All other / non EU customers: contact me!
From a number of countries payment can be made via postgiro or bankgiro. There may also be other forms of payment available.
Credit card payment on-line is planned but not yet available.
Major companies or organisations may have delivery with invoice to be paid within 30 days.
When your order is filled / delivered, you can no longer cancel it or have a refund. This is applicable also if you do not use the picture.

9. UNAUTHORIZED USE ETC.
 
Unauthorized use, change or alteration of image incurs compensation according to regular price list. This amount is then at least doubled depending on the character and magnitude of the change / alteration or use.

10. BORROWING AN ORIGINAL FILM OR PRINT PICTURE
 
If, for some reason, you are not satisfied with getting a digital picture, it could be possible* for you to borrow the original under certain circumstances. Please call or mail me if this is the case.

*Not all pictures can be borrowed but all can be supplied digitally.
